I have officially moved to Florence for the semester to study photography! One of the classes I am taking is a photojournalism course. This is a medium of photography that I have studied, but have never practiced. This makes it a new and unfamiliar experience. The first day of class our professor gave us an assignment and unleashed us into the wild. There is a pig statue in Florence that passerby's stop at to rub its magical nose. Our assignment was to go shoot the pig and anything around the pig. You can imagine a group of photographers surrounded by a pig statue taking photos is a funny sight, but sometimes its fun to see how everyone handles a challenge differently. This is my first attempt at photo journalism.
