This man was carrying a bouquet of flowers downtown. When I asked him who the flowers were for he told me his fiance had just graduated from her masters program.
Kese Johnson, who is a local photographer, asked these men if a group of us could come in and take photos of this little barber shop downtown. The politely accepted.
The point of the meetup was to focus on shutter speed. It is important to me to focus on the basics sometimes and explore things again even if you already have a firm grasp on it. I like simplifying things and stripping away everything else to concentrate on one specific area. The exercise was a fun one. Here are some of my photos demonstrating what you can do with shutter speed.
