Youngstown, Ohio hosts a large Italian immigrant population. While most people are the descendants of immigrants, there are those who have immigrated from Italy in their lives. In my neighborhood, my friend's family and friends all gather once a year to make wine. Her parents came from Italy when they were younger and have brought many traditions with them. The generations involved with this process show the traditions of family and what "home" really means in the word homemade.
